Pending Cases Involving the Board of Governors have been made public.  Among them, the Federal Reserve has listed iMEGA’s case against it in a New Jersey court.  The hearing is slated for September 4.

This list of pending cases does not include suits against the Federal Reserve Banks in which the Board of Governors is not named a party.

Interactive Media Entertainment and Gaming Association, Inc. v. Federal Reserve System, No. 07-2625 (D. N.J., filed June 5, 2007). Action to challenge implementation of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006.

Chandler v. Bernanke, No. 06-2082 (D.D.C., filed December 6, 2006). Employment discrimination action.

Price v. Bernanke, No. 06-1569 (D.D.C., filed September 8, 2006). Employment discrimination action.

Barnes v. Greenspan, No. 04-CV-1989 (CKK) (D.D.C., filed November 15, 2004). Age Discrimination in Employment Act case.

Jones v. Greenspan, No. 04-CV-1696 (RMU) (D.D.C., filed October 4, 2004). Employment discrimination action. On December 13, 2005, the district court granted in part and denied in part the Board’s motion to dismiss and for summary judgment. On June 11, 2007, the Court granted the Board’s motion for summary judgment with respect to counts added in an amended complaint.

Artis v. Greenspan, No. 01-CV-0400 (EGS) (D.D.C., complaint filed February 22, 2001). Employment discrimination action. On August 15, 2001, the district court consolidated the action with Artis v. Greenspan, No. 99-CV-2073 (EGS) (D.D.C., filed August 3, 1999), also an employment discrimination action. On January 31, 2007, the district court granted the Board’s motion to dismiss the action.
