Final Score: Detroit 94, Atlanta 90

Atlanta, GA  - Chauncey Billups scored 12 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter, as the Pistons stretched their winning streak to nine games with a 94-90 victory over the Atlanta Hawks. Rasheed Wallace had 21 points and five steals before fouling out for Detroit, which has won eight of the last nine meetings. Billups, who struggled by going 5-of-16 from the floor, also had eight assists, and at one juncture he had 10 straight Detroit points in the final quarter. Josh Smith scored 30 points for Atlanta, which has lost three in a row. Al Horford ended with 12 points and 16 rebounds in a losing cause.

Indianapolis, IN  - Paul Pierce had 28 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Boston Celtics past the Indiana Pacers, 104-97, at Conseco Fieldhouse. Ray Allen added 23 points for the Celtics, who have won four straight. Leon Powe finished with 16 points and nine boards and Rajon Rondo contributed 12 points, seven assists and seven boards for Boston. Danny Granger had 18 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks, and Shawne Williams scored 14 points for the Pacers, who snapped a brief two-game winning streak. Troy Murphy donated 13 points and nine rebounds, while Mike Dunleavy and Kareem Rush scored 13 points apiece for Indiana.

Final Score: Denver 114, Miami 113 (OT)

Miami, FL  - Carmelo Anthony scored six of his 22 points in overtime and also finished with 11 rebounds, guiding Denver to a 114-113 win over the Miami Heat. J.R. Smith tallied 28 points, going 8-of-14 from three-point range in a reserve role, and Kenyon Martin scored a season- high 24 for the Nuggets, who have won three in a row and six of seven. Allen Iverson ended with 16 points, six rebounds and seven assists, while Marcus Camby had 12 points, 16 rebounds and seven blocked shots for Denver. The Nuggets beat the Heat for a sixth straight time. Shawn Marion had 23 points and 18 rebounds for the Heat, losers of eight in a row and 23 of their last 24 contests. Dwyane Wade scored 29 points and dished out 10 assists, but missed a potential winning shot at the end of overtime. Dorell Wright tied a season-best with 19 points in a losing cause.

East Rutherford, NJ  - Vince Carter had 17 points and 10 assists as the New Jersey Nets beat the Minnesota Timberwolves, 92-88, at the IZOD Center. Jason Kidd barely missed a triple-double — finishing with nine points, nine assists and 10 rebounds, while Richard Jefferson added 13 points and a game-high 12 rebounds for the Nets, who have won three straight. Bostjan Nachbar scored 14 points, all in the second half for New Jersey. Sebastian Telfair scored 24 points and Al Jefferson added 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who have dropped four straight and 11 of 16 overall. Antoine Walker scored 12 points for Minnesota, which shot just 36.5 percent from the floor.

Final Score: Memphis 107, Sacramento 94

Memphis, TN  - Hakim Warrick scored 24 points and pulled down 13 rebounds, both season-highs, to lead the Memphis Grizzlies in a 107-94 victory over the Sacramento Kings at FedExForum. Rudy Gay poured in 21 points for the Grizzlies, who put the brakes on a six-game skid and recorded a win for the first time since trading Pau Gasol to the Lakers on Feb. 1. Juan Carlos Navarro added 19 points, while Mike Miller gave 17 and 10 boards. Darko Milicic tallied 14 points and eight rebounds, and Mike Conley contributed 11 points. Kevin Martin dropped a game-high 33 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Kings, who lost for the second straight game. Mike Bibby and Ron Artest each netted 18 points, with Artest also dishing out seven helpers. Brad Miller totaled 10 points, 13 boards and six assists.

Chicago, IL  - Peja Stojakovic poured in 27 points, shooting 6-for-9 from beyond the arc and polishing off a late run that lifted the New Orleans Hornets over the Chicago Bulls, 100-86, at the United Center. David West also added 27 points while reeling in seven rebounds for the Hornets, who have followed up a three-game slide with three straight wins. Chris Paul tallied 25 points and distributed 14 assists, responding from a season-low two points in Saturday’s 112-99 victory over Memphis. New Orleans snapped a three-game skid against the Bulls. Andres Nocioni scored 28 points for Chicago, which has dropped two of its last three outings. Kirk Hinrich contributed 15 points and handed out four assists in his return to the lineup. Hinrich, the Bulls co-captain, had missed the past three games with bruised ribs. The squad posted a 1-2 mark in his absence. Thabo Sefolosha provided 12 points while pulling down six boards and dishing out four assists in the losing effort.
