Listening to the Boston Red Sox, it doesn’t sound as if Manny Ramirez left a lot of friends in the organization when he was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers. But Ramirez said he’s been pulling for the Red Sox in their American League Division Series against the Los Angeles Angels.

Finalists announced for Frick Award
Former Cincinnati Reds broadcaster Joe Nuxhall has again been selected by fans as a finalist for the Ford Frick Award. The Baseball Hall of Fame says Nuxhall, who died last year of cancer, paced all broadcasters in fan balloting.
