Report: Duhon agrees to deal with Knicks (AP)
Chris Duhon verbally agreed to a deal with the New York Knicks on Friday, the point guard and his agent told The Sporting News. “I am just excited, I am ready to get to work for the Knicks,” said Duhon, the former Duke player who averaged 6.9 points and 4.5 assists in four seasons for Chicago. “It’s a big stage, playing in New York.

Magic sign top draft pick Courtney Lee

Shooting guard Courtney Lee, the Orlando Magic’s first-round pick, signed his rookie contract Thursday morning at RDV Sportsplex before participating in the club’s summer-league practice.

Lee is slated to earn $6 million over four seasons. The first two years of the deal are guaranteed.

‘It felt great. It’s kind of sinking in ….I’m an NBA player for the Orlando Magic,’ beamed Lee.

Lee, the No. 22 pick out of Western Kentucky, said he’s still walking on the clouds since draft night.

Sonics reach settlement with city of Seattle
The city of Seattle and the SuperSonics reached a last-minute settlement before a judge was to rule in their KeyArena lease dispute. The settlement was reached Wednesday just hours before U.S. District Judge Marsha Pechman was to announce her verdict in the trial between the city and the team.
