Thursday, January 31st (All times eastern) San Antonio Spurs (28-16) at Phoenix Suns (33-13), 10:30 p.m.

The struggling San Antonio Spurs will try to put the brakes on a three-game losing streak when they visit the Phoenix Suns this evening at US Airways Center.

This is the second of four matchups between the clubs this season. On December 17th, Grant Hill scored 22 points and pulled down seven rebounds as the Suns escaped with a 100-95 victory at the AT&T Center. Phoenix earned its first win at San Antonio since March of 2003 in a rematch of the hotly contested 2007 Western Conference semifinal series, which was won in six games by the Spurs.

The Suns have won two of the last three contests in this series. San Antonio has lost three of its last four trips to the desert.

The Spurs play the third of a season-long nine-game road trip tonight. Rookie phenom Kevin Durant buried the go-ahead jumper with 32.6 seconds to go and Luke Ridnour added a pair of free throws down the stretch, as Seattle snapped a team-record 14-game losing streak with an 88-85 victory over San Antonio on Tuesday at KeyArena.

Manu Ginobili, pushed into the starting lineup with Tony Parker sidelined because of a bone spur in his left heel, led the way with 29 points in the loss for the Spurs, while Tim Duncan finished with 27 points and 12 rebounds for San Antonio, which has dropped three straight and five of its last eight games overall.

Parker, who is averaging 19.2 points and a team-best 6.1 assists per game this season, is sidelined indefinitely.

San Antonio is 8-11 on the road this season. The Spurs will also visit Indiana, Washington, New York, Boston, Toronto and Cleveland on the current swing.
