Harrell broke two fingers in nine places
Texas Tech officials confirm that quarterback Graham Harrell had surgery to repair nine breaks in two fingers of his non-throwing hand but won’t miss any playing time. Tech spokesman Chris Cook confirmed the surgery Monday. He didn’t have details on whether Harrell’s fingers got caught in a facemask or slammed against a helmet in Saturday’s 35-28 win over Baylor. ESPN.com first reported the injury and surgery Sunday on the nation’s leading passer.

Mizzou coordinator Christensen takes Wyoming job
The architect of the offense that vaulted Missouri back to national prominence and helped make quarterback Chase Daniel the school’s first Heisman Trophy finalist is moving on to become the next head coach at Wyoming. Missouri coach Gary Pinkel confirmed Monday that his offensive coordinator, Dave Christensen, would take the Wyoming job vacated when Joe Glenn was fired Nov. 23 after four losing seasons in six years.
