Memphis, TN - Chris Douglas-Roberts scored 22 points, as top- ranked Memphis stretched the nation’s longest home court winning streak to 47 games with a 68-59 victory over Houston. Antonio Anderson had 12 points and Derrick Rose 10 for the Tigers (24-0, 10-0 C-USA), who have also won 18 straight games in the month of February dating back to the 2004-05 season. The Tigers overcame 3-of-16 shooting from beyond the arc to end their four- game homestand on a winning note heading to Saturday’s meeting at UAB. Robert McKiver had 21 points and Tafari Toney tallied 14 points for Houston (18-5, 7-2), which had its three-game winning streak broken. The Cougars shot 8-of-35 from the field in the second half.

Durham, NC - Kyle Singler scored a season-high 26 points and grabbed seven rebounds to help second-ranked Duke slip past Maryland, 77-65, at Cameron Indoor Stadium. Greg Paulus added 20 points for the Blue Devils (22-1, 10-0 ACC), who extended their win streak to 12 games. DeMarcus Nelson scored just 12 points on 4-of-12 shooting, but Duke was boosted by Jon Scheyer, who ended with 13 points and six boards. It was another lackluster night offensively for the Blue Devils, who made just 23-of-58 field goals, amounting to a 39.7 percent effort. Greivis Vasquez ended with 25 points and eight rebounds for Maryland (16-9, 6-4), which had a four-game winning streak halted and was coming off an 84-70 win over NC State on Saturday. Bambale Osby added 13 points and nine boards and was the only other player in double figures for the Terps.

Knoxville, TN - JaJuan Smith scored 32 points as fourth- ranked Tennessee used a huge second half to rout Arkansas, 93-71, at Thompson- Boling Arena. Tyler Smith and Wayne Chism added 15 points apiece, while Duke Crews finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Volunteers (22-2, 9-1 SEC), who have won six consecutive contests. They also extended the second-longest home winning streak in school history to 30 games. Sonny Weems led the way with 20 points for Arkansas (17-6, 6-3), which had a four- game winning streak halted. Darian Townes chipped in with 12 points, while Gary Ervin and Michael Washington added seven apiece. The Razorbacks ended just 7-of-18 from three-point range and a dismal 18-of-29 from the charity stripe.

Charlotte, NC - Josh Duncan scored 25 points and was perfect from the floor as 12th-ranked Xavier turned back a stiff challenge from Charlotte for a 62-60 win at Halton Arena. Duncan went 7-for-7 from the field and 5-for-5 from three-point range, along with pulling down seven boards for the Musketeers (21-4, 9-1 Atlantic 10). Derrick Brown finished with 11 points and eight boards for Xavier, which reeled off its seventh straight win. Leemire Goldwire scored a game-high 31 points and grabbed eight boards for the 49ers (14-9, 5-4), who fell for the third time in four games. Charlie Coley added eight points for Charlotte, which shot just 31.6 percent from the field.

Bloomington, IN - Brian Butch hit a three-pointer with 4.5 seconds to play, as 15th-ranked Wisconsin nipped 13th-ranked Indiana, 68-66, in a Big Ten clash from Assembly Hall. A Marcus Landry tip-in with 25.8 seconds to play gave Wisconsin a 65-64 lead, then Eric Gordon made two from the line with 17.1 ticks left which put Indiana ahead by one. Following a timeout, Butch banked home a three from the top of the key. After a frenzied attempt to push the ball down court, Jamarcus Ellis’ potential game-winning trey from the right side hit the front of the rim and bounced onto the top of the backboard at the buzzer. Jason Bohannon led the way with 18 points including making 6-of-11 three- pointers for the Badgers (20-4, 10-2 Big Ten), who have won four of their last five games and moved ahead of Indiana into second place in the conference. Michael Flowers added 15 points and seven boards, while Butch scored 13 points. Gordon posted a game-high 23 points for the Hoosiers (20-4, 9-2), whose three-game win streak came to an end. D.J. White added 17 points and eight rebounds and Armon Bassett poured in 12 points in a losing cause.

Carbondale, IL - Randal Falker had 13 points and 10 rebounds as Southern Illinois defeated 14th-ranked Drake, 65-62, snapping the Bulldogs’ 21-game winning streak. Bryan Mullins added 13 points and Matt Shaw pitched in with eight points and grabbed six boards for the Salukis (13-12, 8-6 MVC) who have won two out of their last three games. Josh Young scored 17 points in the losing effort while Jonathan Cox scored 11 points and pulled down 10 rebounds for the Bulldogs (22-2, 13-1).

Hartford, CT - A.J. Price had 26 points and nine assists as No. 17 Connecticut beat No. 20 Notre Dame, 84-78, at Gampel Pavilion Craig Austrie added 14 points and Jeff Adrien finished with 13 points and nine rebounds for the Huskies, who have won eight in a row. Doug Wiggins contributed 10 points and nine boards for UConn. Luke Harangody had a career-high 32 points to go along with 16 rebounds for the Fighting Irish, who had a five-game winning streak snapped. Tory Jackson added 13 points and nine rebounds, while Kyle McAlarney donated 12 points for Notre Dame, which led most of the contest.

Lubbock, TX - Alan Voskuil scored 30 points, and Texas Tech head coach Pat Knight got his first win as head coach, as the Red Raiders toppled 18th-ranked Kansas State, 84-75, at United Spirit Arena. Knight took over the program from his legendary father, Bob, earlier this month, but the Red Raiders lost their first two games under his guidance. Texas Tech dropped an 80-74 decision to Baylor on February 6, and lost 73-62 to Nebraska three days later. But on Wednesday, Texas Tech (13-10, 4-5 Big 12) helped Knight to his first win in a big way, downing the conference leader. Martin Zeno scored 16, while John Roberson and Mike Singletary each provided 11 points. Bill Walker scored 27 for Kansas State (17-6, 7-2), which had a two- game win streak snapped. Michael Beasley finished with 22 points for the Wildcats.
